Mark did a whole house remodel for us from concept drawings, to detailed plan and most of the interior design. His aesthetic is modern, but we wanted a softer, more deco approach and he listened and came up with a timeless design that will never look dated. His own furniture line is gorgeous and our custom pieces look beautiful with his carefully selected accessories. He mixes high and low with panache and shops resale and websites for just the right item to set off the room.
He is especially brilliant with color and I've seen him consult on just that with transformative results. When he takes on a project he's 100% focused. He doesn't waste time. My husband and I hired Mark to remodel and design our condo we bought in Palm Springs. I selected Mark to update my 1974 ranch-style home after visiting his home and admiring his style and aesthetic choices. I hoped he could approximate that with my home.
Without listing all the aspects and phases of the project, it was a major redesign and renovation of a house this size (2150sq ft), accomplished in approximately 6 months.
I was delighted with the finished product and remain as delighted 10 years later. I get compliments on the house from neighbors and passers-by on a regular basis.
My experience with Mark exceeded my expectations. I felt as though as I was guided throughout by an experienced and informed professional who bent his vision to mine on those few occasions we may have disagreed. I realized early in the process that Mark knew how to drive a project forward to meet deadlines. He is a skilled trouble-shooter, who can anticipate issues before they become problems and, if they do, remedy them. There were no substantial delays in the renovation of my home. For that, I credit Mark's superb organizational skills and powers of persuasion.
Some years later when I was ready to redesign and update the pool/backyard, I went back to Mark for design work and direction in managing the project. It was another successful experience for me with Mark and completed the update of this property.

Mark designed my mid-century modern house in the Hollywood Hills above the Strip and gave it all the glamour, style and comfort I wanted. I felt the effort was completely collaborative and yet know he pushed me sometimes out of my comfort zones to great results. He put me up at a hotel for the final installation - he saw to everything from linens to furniture to every finish. When I walked into the house the candles were lit, every vase was filled with flowers - it simply took my breath away. It was a wonderful experience, start to finish. He also helped me freshen up the house over the years too. Thank you, Mark!

These rooms are always so hard to make look like anything but a compromise but he succeeded: when it's my office, it is highly functional and comfortable for working and relaxing; when it's a guest bedroom it's welcoming and a cozy private haven.
